Liquid Cargo Terminal
In line with the increasing business volume and demands of the Turkish Chemical Industry, storage services are provided to third parties with certified storage tanks across various product groups by increasing the terminal capacity.
The Liquid Cargo Terminal operations include: storage of all kinds of liquid chemicals, ship discharge and loading, and filling/discharging services for road tankers.
Customs Status: Our terminal is an A-Type general bonded warehouse connected to the Körfez Petrochemical Customs Directorate.
Tank Capacity: There are 85 tanks with capacities of 380 m³, 650 m³, 1500 m³, 1560 m³, 1900 m³, 2105 m³, 3150 m³, 3850 m³, 4040 m³, 4180 m³ and 10,000m³, certified according to API 650 standards by an Accredited organization. Our total capacity is 269.428,49 m³.
Tank Types: Our tanks are made of stainless and carbon steel, and heated, insulated, cooled, marineline, and Epoxy Coating tanks are available in different capacities.
Operations: All of our tanks have separate filling and discharging circuits. Road tanker filling is done automatically over the weighbridge, ensuring accurate and precise fulfillment of quantity demands from our customers. Ship loading can also be carried out from all our tanks when necessary.
Safety & Environment: All our tanks are equipped with fire extinguishing systems compliant with NFPA standards. To prevent emissions, tanks are fitted with nitrogen blanket, filter, and scrubber systems according to the product type. Closed-system tanker and ship loading/unloading operations can also be performed.
Jetty Operations: Simultaneous ship loading/unloading of 21 different products can be carried out during jetty operations. Jetty pipelines are 6" and 8" Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel, with heated/insulated lines available depending on the product type. All pipelines are swept after operation using the PIG method to prevent product loss and contamination risk during product changes.
Auditing: Our terminal is regularly inspected and certified by CDI. All our equipment is selected according to international standards, and new investments are made in line with evolving technologies.
Personnel: Our operation personnel are selected from experienced individuals in the field, and their development is ensured through continuous training in response to changing technology and conditions.
Terminal Working Hours: Loading, unloading, and all operations at Limaş are carried out on a 24-hour basis, including Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
Pilotage and Towage: Pilotage and towage services for vessels calling at and departing from Limaş port are provided by firms authorized by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
Simultaneous Operations: If vessel sizes are appropriate, loading and unloading services are provided simultaneously to 3 vessels.
Waste Reception: Ship waste reception services are carried out in coordination with İzmit Environmental and İzmit Customs units, thanks to the existing waste reception facilities.

General Cargo Terminal
General Cargo operations carried out at our facility cover the loading, unloading, and stacking operations of all kinds of dry cargo, palletized cargo, jumbo (bigbag), bulk, packaged cargo, etc., using appropriate vehicles, materials, and equipment. The terminal operates 24 hours a day, subject to weather conditions.
Temporary Storage Area: Our facility also includes a 14,950 m² Temporary Storage Area connected to the İzmit Customs Directorate.
Additional Services: Yacht discharge and loading operations are also carried out.
